Walk in the Green – Memories of the Hibarigaoka Danchi

This book is composed mainly of photographs of the Hibarigaoka apartment buildings and terrace houses, developed in the late 1950s.
It traces the transition from the period before demolition, through the redevelopment phase, and into the present Hibarigaoka Park Hills — all structured around the scenery of trees and greenery.

The Sawtooth-Roofed Town Factory – Aoki Ebonite

A rubber factory in Tokyo’s Sumida Ward, founded in the Taishō era.
The building survived the air raids of the war and stood for many decades,
but was demolished in 2024; the site is now residential housing.
This book records the factory in photographs from before and after its demolition.
